TO UNDERSTAND NAIROBI
One must first understand the difference between platforms, products, and features.
PLATFORMS
Platforms are the foundation of technology disruption.
The printing press, telegraph, telephone, transistor,
microchips, the internet, 3D printing are all platforms.
PRODUCTS
Products sit on top of platforms.
While valuable, they rely on a foundational technology they don’t own to function.

Books, microchips, software, cloud storage, personal computers, 3D printed aerospace components are all products created from platforms.
FEATURES
Iterative, user-friendly improvements. While useful, they sit on top of products.
They are easy to understand, easy to invest in…and easy to copy.

Intermittent windshield wipers, camera phone improvements, wireless chargers,
Encrypted text messaging. Most AI startups.

NAIROBI IS NOT A LIGHT
Nairobi is a platform that emits light.
Lasers for resurfacing steel molds and ripping barnacles from ship hulls. UV-C sterilizers to sterilize
hospitals and pig barns. Agricultural lights that emit the exact light spectrum for growing crops.
Military grade IR for invisible security
and data communication.

Frequency-specific emission to treat psoriasis, pneumonia, vitiligo and fungal infections. Red light
therapy to stimulate rapid bone and wound repair. Blue light to disrupt the DNA of fruit flies.
Chemical-free crop and livestock security.

NAIROBI CONTROL
If you can use a smartphone, you can use Nairobi.
Automatically detects your Nairobi class and Nairobi Light Disk type.
Instantly updates it’s interface for your specific industry’s mission critical needs.

DYNAMIC SUBMENUS:
Submenus change depending on which Light Disk is attached to the user's Nairobi, giving the user field-specific controls.
Detects when use attaches a Light Disk and updates specs display.
LIGHT DISK SPECS:
Allows users to update Nairobi's firmware wirelessly.
Eliminates "ladders and labor."
WIRELESS UPDATES:
Advanced BLE Mesh allows user to group Nairobis together wirelessly.
GROUPING:
Allows inexperienced users to quickly learn Nairobi's advanced features without the need of a user manual or training videos.
TUTOR MODE:
REMOTE POWER:
Users can power devices without physically touching their array
of Nairobis.

OVERVIEW
The EvansWerks team spent three years developing the advanced electronics
that control Nairobi.
Can you see the high voltage digitally controlled DC power supply on this PCBA? Nope? That’s okay. That was our goal.
NAIROBI ELECTRONICS
To ensure our App knows which Light Disk is installed in a Nairobi, we had to invent a new “protocol.” We call it PTVI (Photon To Voltage Index), which allows our electronics to identify Light Disks and update Nairobi Control accurately.
PLENTY MORE SECRETS
We would be absolutely stupid to show all our secrets in the photo above.
If you’re an electrical engineer, you bet your ass we hid some stuff.
MINIATURIZED POWER SUPPLY
DIGITAL FINGERPRINT
Most PCBAs are built on a flexible fiberglass substrate known as an FR4. Our PCBAs use 6mm thick solid copper. This provides incredible thermal control, RF shielding and mechanical rigidity.
METAL CORE DESIGN

This is a single 300 watt Nairobi lighting Papago Park.
Nairobi Pro is twice as powerful.
Nairobi Ultra creates invisible “light fields”
for medical and military that are equally powerful.

PROTOTYPES USED BY THE BEST
To develop Nairobi, inventor Justin Eugene Evans worked with the most demanding, perfectionistic companies in the world.

Including Ferrari at the Concourse d’ Elegance. Twice.
Ferrari’s VP of Events claimed the lighting below is the best in the company’s history. Justin completed it in under 15 minutes with a Nairobi prototype.
Ferrari, Pebble Beach, Walt Disney World, Marvel, Meow Wolf, GMR, Bell Helicopter, the Canadian Armed Forces, The WGA(w) Private Theater, NBC, Pipestone Farms and director Steven Soderbergh.

These clients informed every decision in Nairobi’s invention and industrial design.
